My father was the first Zambian policeman to have a University Degree when he studied law at the University of Zambia (UNZA) and helped promote a lot of sports in the police service. He advocated and helped many police officers to attain university and legal education. He strongly believed that being custodians of the law policemen had to know the law in order to defend and protect it.
